At Shkodra Byrek, every dish tells the story of a family, a city, and a culture passed down through generations. Born in the ancient city of Shkodër, Albania — nestled between Lake Shkodër and the Accursed Mountains — our recipes carry the flavors of centuries.
Elena opened this restaurant with one simple conviction: that Albanian cuisine deserves its place at the world's table. From slow-cooked tavë in traditional clay pots to hand-pulled byrek baked to perfection, every plate is a labor of love.
We are dedicated to guests with dietary needs — our kitchen is committed to providing gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and shellfish-free options throughout our menu.
